Hi everyone!

Today marks the first full day of summer as a Manhattan-ite. So pumped! 🙂 Here’s what went down yesterday:

-Woke up & walked to dorm and found my subway route to work

-Moved in & got all necessities for a summer apartment

-Went to Rockefeller Plaza and then took the train back all by myself (That I was anxious about…)

-Walked for about an hour and a half while my friend and I searched for a non-pizza place for dinner (Hey, that’s what we had for lunch!), then ate dinner followed by some quick grocery shopping

-Came back and hung out with people in the dorm, then sleep

On today’s agenda:

-My roommate and I already walked over a mile and half, from our dorm on 3rd Ave to Ave C, exploring the neighborhood (To which I already found a perfect NYC brownstone)

-Mandatory “brunch” with all residents in an hour

-Circle Line boat tour

And that’s all the planned events for today! I’m looking forward to spontaneously exploring the city and taking adventures, as well as seeing as many Broadway shows as my time and budget allows! 🙂

My favorite looks from the Billboard Music Awards red carpet

With tonight’s BBMAs in Vegas, I thought it was appropriate to discuss my fave looks from the carpet.

First off, so excited to hear about the upcoming Balmain x H&M collab! (I mean, Justin Bieber’s Met Gala tux was epic!!) Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner stun in the future collection, and I’ll def have to stop by my local store when the collection is released!

Tonight’s hostess Chrissy Teigen looks perfect in her perfectly tailored and perfectly styled 70’s-inspired jumpsuit. It looks ahmazing on her. One of the night’s best dressed for sure!

And of course, Miss T. Swift looks perfect in the night’s biggest trend: jumpsuits. And her Bad Blood video? Epic. (Bonus: who caught her cats’ namesakes walking side by side? I did!) Watch it right now if you haven’t seen it.

DWTS alum Danica McKellar stuns in her silver, sparkly one-shouldered gown. Gorge.

And here’s One Direction. let’s just stare at their beauty for a minute, shall we? (Liam’s smolder.) Plus, who heard Liam’s “we would like to share this with our brother Zayn??” Too adorable. (I can’t wait to see them live in their town: London! First, I saw them in my home state, and now the tables have flipped! Eeeep I’m so excited about it— best study abroad ever!)

And Ed Sheeran also looks great for one of my fave artists EVER.

And there’s IDINA. Still can’t I saw her perform LIVE!! She’s incredible! If you get a chance, go see If/Then on tour (an awesome show and Idina will be reprising her role this summer!!)

My New York City Bucket List

So, I’ll be living in NYC this summer and I decided I can’t live in one of the greatest cities in the world without creating a comprehensive list of everything I want to do (outside of my class and future internship, of course.)

1. Get good deals to see as many Broadway shows as time allows.

2. Wait at the stagedoor of said Broadway shows (it was so fun to do it at If/Then in March!)

3. Explore Central Park and many other cute parks

4. Wake up super early to attend one of Today/ GMA’s summer concert series (my friend and I already have plans!)

5. Exploring what “random” daily events, festivals and activities are happening around the city

6. Visit my favorite store, Topshop, of course (either location will suffice)

7. Find time to visit the different Manhattan neighborhoods

8. Go to a farmers market!

9. Shopping excursions (both for trendy pieces at retail and discount prices)

10. Go to the cupcake ATM because who doesn’t love cupcakes?

11. Try something new! ( In terms of an activity, food, fashion trend, place to visit, etc)

I’m looking forward to exploring such an amazing city like a true New Yorker. Bring on summer, I’m ready! xx

The fabulous Met Ball ensembles!

Well, you may know that I’m like obsessed with fashion, so what could be more exciting than the Met Ball red carpet?

Lizzy Caplan looks like a grecian goddess in her Donna Karen Atelier gown, and has a flawless updo and dangly earrings to complete the look.

CEMkhk8UsAIkEJH Anne Hathaway is dazzling in gold, in a gown very fitting of the “China: Through the Looking Glass” theme of the event. And love the hood with her slicked-back hair!

CEMeYEcUsAAFV05 And there’s super-suave TFIOS actor Ansel Elgort, who looks dapper in his Tom Ford tux with slicked-back hair.

CEMibGNUIAALvoF Zac Posen instagrammed this shot of him and his date Katie Holmes. LOOK AT THAT GOWN. IT IS FABULOUS. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

Emma Roberts also instagrammed this shot in the car ride to the gala, and she looks flawless: from her gown (color and shape!), jewels, hair and her clutch: head-to-toe perfection.

Jennifer Lawrence looks fab in her sleek gown with a floral crop top: bringing an edginess to the Met Ball. Also, love the high bun to finish off the look.

Love Alicia Keys’ tutu-esque tulle skirt with the crop top and matching blazer. Love it! Fabulous! I want that skirt!!!

What red carpet is complete without Sarah Jessica Parker? SJP looks amazing in her haute couture dress that epitomizes the event theme. And who else could rock a headpiece like Carrie Bradshaw?

“Gigi” Broadway star Vanessa Hudgens looks ah-mazing in her red, bedazzled tea-length gown and the black, sparkly bird cage mask!!! LOVE! Definitely a best-dressed contender.
