We Now Know Who Will Be Playing Our Faves in Mean Girls The Musical

These characterizations are so fetch!

Before Regina George scolds me for trying to make fetch happen, I need to say one thing: Who can’t wait to see Mean Girls the musical?

Not only is it one the most quotable movies of all time, it also comes with a golden message about how we should be treated. What could be better? I know, having movie scribe Tina Fey write a Broadway musical version of her hit 2004 film.

And as of today, the auditions have concluded and the staging is ready, because we have our new Plastics, full of Broadway superstars. Here’s a breakdown of who’s who when North Shore takes over the Great White Way:

Cady Heron: Erika Henningsen

https://www.instagram.com/p/BVfnT-el1wg/?taken-by=erikahenningsen

Henningsen was last seen on Broadway in Les Mis as the youngest Fantine ever and will step into Lindsey Lohan’s iconic teenage shoes to play the new girl in school.

Regina George: Taylor Louderman

Making her Broadway debut in Bring it On, Louderman is ready to take on another iconic teen film adaptation, fresh from her performance opposite Brendan Urie in Kinky Boots. She’s certainly come a long way from her summers as a Muny teen in the St. Louis humidity. (And doesn’t she look like a young Rachel McAdams in the film’s homecoming scene??)

Gretchen Weiners: Ashley Park

https://www.instagram.com/p/BRtq7HMDQH0/?taken-by=ashleyparklady

Ashley Park, most recently in The King and I and Sunday in The Park With George, is definitely so fetch.

Karen Smith: Kate Rockwell

Another Bring it On The Musical alum, Rockwell is ready to have ESPN visions and apply bedazzled initials onstage.

Rounding out the North Shore gang:

Janis: Barrett Wilbert Weed

One guess: she won’t be wearing a wig from mom’s chest hair?

Damian: Grey Henson

One of the coolest people you’ll see in the show! (As per the clique map.)

Aaron Samuels: Kyle Selig

The only question: will his hair look sexy pushed back?

Ms. Norbury: Kerry Butler

Big shoes to fill if you’re playing the role that the script writer originated.

Kevin G: Cheech Manohar

Looks like he’s ready to tackle the shoes of a young M.C. and mathlete…

Principal Duvall: Rick Younger

He didn’t leave the South Side for nothing…

Here is everything Tina Fey has said about the musical before today’s big announcement.

I can only imagine how some of the most iconic lines and scenes will play out on stage. Will we see Mrs. George? A whole song about infinite limits? A recreated version of the talent show number? I want all the details.

All in all, this musical is shaping up to be so great. I know I’ll be quick to get tickets once it hits the New York theater scene. Until then, the musical will play D.C.’s National Theatre from October 31-December 3.

Seems like Gretchen was right after all…

Ravens and Roses: The Optimal Way to Watch This Season of “The Bachelorette”

Many members of #BachelorNation host premier viewing parties every Monday night (complete with roses, fantasy league brackets, and wine, lots of wine.), but one specific viewing party has to be THE best.

NFL players (these guys get paid to slam other people around for sport, mind you) are actually big ole softies. Case in point: The Baltimore Ravens players host a Bachelorette viewing party weekly, as they posted on Facebook.

Here’s the video in its entirety:

While watching the ultimate guilty pleasure reality show first was a joke, these men quickly were captivated by the programming and made watching a weekly thing.

We’d love to be a fly on the wall at their party every week! (Sure beats my bed and takeout for sure!)

[h/t Entertainment Weekly]

Analyzing This Year’s Crop of Bachelorette Contestants…

Because I enjoyed it so much during JoJo’s season, it’s that time of year again!

Once again, this post are my first impressions of the men only, straight from their ABC bio pages, exclusively. (And hopefully, some of these negative bios can prove me wrong next week when the show starts airing. (I DARE YOU.)

Without further ado, Rachel’s men…

OK, I thought this 27-year-old real estate agent seemed nice and friendly (i.e his most embarrassing moment was “when I told my mom I was going on the Bachelorette.”), then I kept reading.

Case in point:

  • Most romantic birthday present: “A threesome.”
  • Do you consider yourself a good cook: “Yes! I used to cook four-course meals in college and charge people. LOL” (So, he talks with ‘LOL,’ all caps??)

Reading very bro. Pass, Rachel, PASS.

Prediction: International.

He was the guy that won (sorry, spoiler) the group date hosted at the Ellen show. Initial reactions, like the Ellen audience, he is clearly attractive, looks-wise. Can his personality live up?

  • Do you consider yourself romantic: “Yes. I like to treat my significant other like a queen.” 😍 😍 😍
  • What is the most outrageous thing he’s done: “Ate a live salamander.” *goes to throw up*

Other than the salamander, WOW. I like this guy!

Well, Alex, you’ve got my vote (because that’s how this works, right?!?)

Prediction: Finale.

He’s done some awesome volunteer work globally! Good for you!

Prediction: See ya later after night 2 or 3.

Was he on the Ellen date too? Can’t recall.

First off, poor guy. He’s an aspiring drummer. Yikes. So, unemployed?

OH MY GOD his favorite flower is a red rose because he’s a “classic gentleman.” *rolling my eyes”

I DON’T LIKE HIM.

Prediction: U.S. travel dates.

So it seems like Blake is the “it” name this time around!

Did he copy his namesake’s answer on the roses thing? PASS.

Seems boring.

Prediction: He won’t go past L.A.

My god, he looks like a human Ken doll. Little creepy. (Anddddd… he’s a male model. Got it now.)

I’m getting wrong reasons vibes here.

Prediction: Middle of the pack. See ya in Paradise.

He looks like a country singer. Other than that, he looks very sweet. I like this guy.

Prediction: Final 5.

First thought: super wide jaw. OK, moving on.

  • Greatest achievement: “Making my parents proud and inspiring my little brother.” *swooning*

A few more adorable answers, and some general WTF moments as well.

Prediction: U.S. travel for sure.

Sad story alert. #MamasBoy *wiping my eyes*

He prefers “a woman who demands to be pursued,” good, because you’re on the right vehicle for that.

Prediction: A few group dates, at least.

He seems super sweet and friendly. Wait, did we meet him on After the Final Rose??? Can’t remember.

  • Ultimate date: “No cell phones, technology, just two people geeking out about life, love, goals, family, friends, music, movies, food, etc.” (That’s sweet.)
  • Greatest achievement: “Being a GREAT big brother. Since my kid sister was born, I have taken pride in not only loving her but teaching her about life.”

Yup, #TeamDeMario.

Prediction: Fantasy suites, baby.

One, “Devil Wears Prada” IS a great movie, points added. Nothing else special.

Prediction: Middle of the pack. He’ll find his best friends amongst his competitors.

Meh, not impressed.

Prediction: He won’t leave L.A.

He WAS on the Ellen date!

Which is perfect because….

  • If you could be someone else for just one day, who would it be: “Ellen DeGeneres because she seems to love what she does and people’s days are brightened when they are around her.”

Prediction: Final 6.

Frat guy, and still loving it. Red flag, Rachel.

Immature and dad jokes. Ughhhhhh.

Prediction: L.A., duuuude.

Weird, he has the same best and worst attributes? Huh.

Prediction: He’ll leave night one.

With that name, he’s gotta be a stripper, a singer, or a model. No ifs, ands, or buts. (Plus, he has a first and last name, when there are no other Jacks.)

What? He’s an attorney? OK, I’m surprised. Then why the two names, dude? BUT, doesn’t he look like old school Nick Viall??? (I can’t unsee it!!)

Prediction: Middle of the pack.

He seems sweet.

Spoke too soon: his ideal girl looks like a model. Anndddd, we’re done with him.

Prediction: U.S. trippin’

Country boy? Yup, called that one.

Meh to his answers.

Prediction: Pack your passport!

He was also on the Ellen date! And asked when it was his turn to kiss Rachel.

WTF his job is “tickle monster.” No joke. WHAT?!?

Don’t like him. Same from the Ellen show date!

Prediction: See ya after a few weeks.

They can bond about their legal passions? Meh.

Prediction: L.A. dates only.

He’s a wrestler. For some reasons, I’m getting bad vibes.

Prediction: U.S. travels.

Pretty uneventful answer. Meh.

Prediction: Peace out after night one or two.

That is some high hairdo, wow. Getting some James Taylor vibes from JoJo’s season. But his hair is giving Jef vibes from Emily Maynard’s season.

Prediction: Grab your passport.

He looks like the character Lucas on Pretty Little Liars. Creepy.

WTF is an occupation of “whaboom??” Need clarification, please.

Preditction: Middle of the pack.

Looks like every other Bachelorette contestant. Meh, seems normal.

Prediction: Going abroad.

Couldn’t focus on this retired pro b-baller. Other than he eats paleo. Yikes.

Prediction: Travel dates, maybe.

He seems sweet and nice. What? He thinks being romantic is weak? PASS.

Prediction: U.S. traveling. Then, hola Paradise!

Forgettable vibes here.

Side note: ABC, what type of question is “Gluten?” Could you clarify??

Prediction: See ya in the first night exit limo.

He looks like he knows he’s handsome.

Seems grounded, normal, a few WTF stories. Eh.

(Was he the guy that said they kissed on Ellen??)

Prediction: Oh, he’s going abroad.

Rob looks super plain and forgettable.

Prediction: Byeee after night one or two!

He was the runner-up on the Ellen game show. He seems nice and personable from that appearance and his official headshot.

Prediction: Fantasy suites, at least.

That was fun! What are your thoughts, #BachelorNation? See you next week for viewing parties! Excited for Rachel’s journey (oops, start the drinking game now.) to air.

33 Celebrities Open Up About Their Mental Health Struggles

Your favorite stars are here to let you know that you are not alone.

Anyone who struggles with a mental illness knows the toll it can take on you. And some of your favorite stars know that too; we love that they use their platform to advocate for causes that could use a little more attention and support.

1. Emma Stone

The Oscar winner recently spoke about her lifelong struggle with anxiety in a new Facebook campaign for the Child Mind Institute.

“[Anxiety] has always been something that I’ve lived with and it flares up in big ways at different times in my life,” she said in a Facebook video. “Sometimes while it’s happening, like while I’m in a phase of big turmoil or the anxiety is very strong, it feels like it’s never gonna end — but it does.”

2. Chrissy Teigen

Part of the reason we love Chrissy Teigen is how completely down-to-earth and relatable she is.  While she’s married to a Grammy-winning singer, hosts a popular TV show, manages to stay in such great shape after giving birth to her daughter, she recently took her candid nature to another level, when she revealed that she had suffered from postpartum depression.

In an essay for Glamour, Teigen wrote, “”Getting out of bed to get to set on time was painful. My lower back throbbed; my shoulders — even my wrists — hurt. I didn’t have an appetite. I would go two days without a bite of food, and you know how big of a deal food is for me.”

3. Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato has been especially vocal about her past mental health struggles from her powerful DNC speech to creating a documentarythat discusses the importance of speaking out about mental health. These discussions are quite personal to the singer, who herself has been diagnosed with an eating disorder, addiction, and bipolar disorder.

“Anytime you aren’t creating conversation about what mental health really is, you’re opening it up to a bunch of negativity,” Lovato told Marie Claire. “It’s important to remember that the vast majority of people living with mental health conditions aren’t violent. They’re 10 times more likely to be the victims of a violent crime.”

4. Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried previously revealed that she has been living with OCD.

“I’m on Lexapro, and I’ll never get off of it,” Seyfried told Allure, revealing that she has been taking the drug for 11 years. “I’m on the lowest dose, and I don’t see the point of getting off of it. Whether it’s placebo or not, I don’t want to risk it.”

“What are you fighting against?” she continued. “Just the stigma of using a tool? It should be taken as seriously as anything else… If you can treat it, you treat it.”

5. Herschel Walker

herschel walker

The former NFL running back revealed that he suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), or more commonly referred to as multiple personality disorder.

“What DID is, it is a unique way of coping,” he told the Star Tribune. “People have to shift themselves and their personalities in so many different areas to be successful. You don’t want Herschel Walker the football player, babysitting your kids. Those are two different people. The same person who was on the football field is not the same person you would see running a business.”

6. Grace Victory

The Youtube star, though struggling with depression and anxiety, refused to let that slow down her successful career.

“So when I was 21, I got help. That was the start of my self-love journey. I was just sick of it. It just got to the point where I was so tired — I was constantly surrounded by a massive gray cloud,” Victory said. “Therapy felt like the only option I had. I just couldn’t cope anymore. I went into therapy and it gave me the confidence to read up on things about mental health — it was important for me to find my own therapeutic way to deal with my issues. You can’t just know to love yourself; you have to be taught how, and that’s OK.

7. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has been vocal about living with PTSD since her assault at age 19.

“For me, every morning waking up sad and going on stage is very hard to describe,” she told Prince William during a Skype conversation. “There’s a lot of shame attached to mental illness; you feel like something’s wrong with you. In my life, I look at all the beautiful things that I have and think ‘I should be so happy,’ but you can’t help it if you wake up and feel so tired and so sad; you have anxiety and you can barely think. It was just saying this is part of me, and that’s OK.”

8. Lena Headey

“Game of Throne’s” Queen Cersai recently revealed what it’s like to struggle with depression and anxiety in a series of tweets to her fans.

“Anxiety is a beast. You have to talk to beasts. Release them back into the wild. Easier said than done I know but still. Good to Practice,” she posted on the social media site.

9. Carrie Fisher

The late “Star Wars” actress opened up about living with a Bipolar I diagnosis and her struggle with addiction and helped provide support to others struggling.

“We have been given a challenging illness, and there is no other option than to meet those challenges. Think of it as an opportunity to be heroic — not ‘I survived living in Mosul during an attack’ heroic but an emotional survival,” she wrote. “An opportunity to be a good example to others who might share our disorder. That’s why it’s important to find a community — however small — of other bipolar people to share experiences and find comfort in the similarities.

10. Selena Gomez

When Selena Gomez made her emotional speech during the 2016 American Music Awards, fans immediately praised the star for speaking out about a rarely discussed issue. And then, in a 2017 Vogue cover shoot, Gomez opened up about how DBT therapy changed her lifefor the better.

“I wish more people would talk about therapy,” she said to the magazine. “We girls, we’re taught to be almost too resilient, to be strong and sexy and cool and laid-back; the girl who’s down. We also need to feel allowed to fall apart.”

11. Adam Levine

The Maroon 5 singer revealed to Very Well about what it’s been like for “The Voice” judge having ADHD.

“”Throughout my life, I struggled with ADHD,” Levine said. “I had the symptoms of ADHD – inattention, and hyperactivity/impulsivity. It was hard for me at times to sit down, focus and get school work done. I was frustrated because of the challenges I was having in school. I was really struggling.

While he was diagnosed as a teenager, Levine found it hasn’t gone away. “Finding out that I still had ADHD and working with my doctor to come up with a treatment plan that works for me has helped me manage my ADHD,” he continued.

12. Kristen Bell

The actress has been vocal about the stigma surrounding mental health, and makes sure to work on herself to cope with her anxiety and depression.

“I present this very cheery, bubbly person, but I also do a lot of work. I do a lot of introspective work and I check in with myself when I need to exercise and I got on a prescription when I was very young to deal with my anxiety and depression and I still take it today,” she said. “I have no shame in that.”

13. Prince Harry

The young Royals have worked to open up a dialogue on mental health recently, founding the nonprofit Heads Together and creating new films  to discuss mental health, in hopes to reduce the stigma. And so, in a recent interview, Prince Harry revealed that after the death of his mother, Princess Diana, he entered therapyto help him cope with his grief.

“I can safely say that losing my mum at the age of 12, and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last 20 years, has had a quite serious effect on not only my personal life but my work, as well,” Prince Harry said. “I have probably been very close to a complete breakdown on numerous occasions, when all sorts of grief and all sorts of lies and misconceptions and everything are coming to you from every angle.”

14. Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham is definitely candid about what she struggles with and how she works to cope, such as her OCD and anxiety.

“Lately I’ve been noticing that nearly every pop cultural image we see of a woman on psychiatric medication is that of an out-of-control, exhausting, and exhausted girl who needs help,” Dunham wrote in a January 2016 Instagram caption. “But guess what? Most women on meds are women who have been brave enough to help themselves.”

15. Catherine Zeta-Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones has been vocal in revealing her Bipolar II diagnosis, as a way to help others understand what they themselves are going through and to seek help.

“This is a disorder that affects millions of people and I am one of them,” the actress told People. “If my revelation of having bipolar II has encouraged one person to seek help, then it is worth it. There is no need to suffer silently and there is no shame in seeking help.”

“Finding out that it was called something was the best thing that ever happened to me! The fact that there was a name for my emotions and that a professional could talk me through my symptoms was very liberating,” she told Good Housekeeping UK. “There are amazing highs and very low lows. My goal is to be consistently in the middle. I’m in a very good place right now. A lot of that is to do with the fact that I’m much more knowledgeable about what I call my pain in the a**!”

16.Cara Delevingne

The supermodel opened up on Twitter about her battle with depression as an aspiring model.

“I suffer from depression and was a model during a particularly rough patch of self hatred,” she wrote. “I am focusing on filming and trying to learn how to not pick apart my every flaw. I am really good at that.”

17. Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively may seem like the perfect couple, but that’s merely a facade caught on camera and on screen. Because beyond the Hollywood lens, the actor is a normal man, who too deals with real struggles.

“I felt like I was on some schooner in the middle of a white squall the whole time. It just never stopped. When it finally ended, I had a little bit of a nervous breakdown. I literally had the shakes. I went to go see a doctor because I felt like I was suffering from a neurological problem or something. And every doctor I saw said, ‘You have anxiety,'” Reynolds told GQ.

18. Naomi Judd

Country singer Naomi Judd revealed her battle with severe depression on Good Morning America last December.

“They see me in rhinestones, you know, with glitter in my hair; that really is who I am,” the country star said. “But then I would come home and not leave the house for three weeks and not get out of my pajamas and not practice normal hygiene. It was really bad.”

19. Jane Pauley

The famous broadcaster revealed that she has been living with Bipolar 3 to TODAY in an interview.

“The first night, I’m in bed in a hospital room and I realized there’s a woman sitting in a chair. And that she’s going to be there the whole night. And I turned over.  And she told me I had – my arms had to be outside of the covers and at that point, you know, I … burst into tears,” she said.

20. Ellie Goulding

The singer may look and sound picture-perfect when she gets on stage. However, that journey to the stage isn’t always together as one would expect from a pop star.

“I still feel nervous before performing, or have pangs of anxiety from time to time, but it’s not crippling like it used to be,” Goulding wrote in an essay for Well + Good. “It took time, but I’ve accepted that everyone feels nervous before they perform — it’s not just me. And now that I believe in myself more, that confidence comes through, whether I’m working out, singing onstage, or just hanging out by myself at home.”

21. Leonardio DiCaprio

When the actor portrayed Howard Hughes in the movie “The Aviator,” he wanted to make sure he got the pilot’s mannerisms right, and according to a psychologist who advised Leo, he used his own “mild” OCD to become the character, but soon, his diagnosisbegan to get more severe.

“I remember my make-up artist and assistant walking me to The Aviator set and going, ‘Oh God,we’re going to need 10 minutes to get him there because he has to walk back and step on that thing, touch that door, and walk in and out again,” DiCaprio said. “I let myself do it because I wanted that to come out. I was trying to be the character but it became really bothersome – and it continued way after the filming.”

22. Hayden Panettiere

The “Nashville” actress has been vocal about suffering from postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter Kaya and how getting through it has made her a better mother.

“It takes you a while and you feel off, you don’t feel like yourself,” she said. “Women are so resilient and that’s the incredible thing about them. I think I’m all the stronger for it. I think I’m a better mom because of it because you never take that connection for granted.”

23. Brandon Marshall

The NFL player revealed that he was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, something that drastically changed his life.

“It’s no secret that, in the years before my diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder in 2011, I was making some bad decisions. I had little idea why. I struggled to control my emotions or manage my life and relationships,” Marshall wrote in an essay for Huffington Post. “As a longtime athlete in the NFL — a testosterone-driven, tough-it-up, egocentric profession — there’s not a lot of room for ‘How do you feel today.'”

24. Rene Russo

While normally celebrities go on talk shows to promote their latest projects, Rene Russo took a more candid approach, when she revealed that she’s been living with bipolar disorder.

“My mom said my whole childhood … was stop and go,” Russo revealed to Queen Latifah in 2014. “I literally crashed, hit a wall and couldn’t get out of bed. I thought it was depression, but if you take antidepressants it speeds you up more. I haven’t shared this. I have friends who don’t want to go on medication, and they are suffering.”

25. Olivia Munn

As result of her anxiety, the actressrevealed that she suffers from trichotillomania.

“I don’t bite my nails, but I rip out my eyelashes,” Munn told New York Daily News. “It doesn’t hurt, but it’s really annoying. Every time I run out of the house, I have to stop and pick up a whole set of fake eyelashes.”

26. Pete Wentz

After Pete Wentz discovered his bipolar diagnosis, he revealed how his Fall Out Boy bandmates have been there to support him and they regularly chat about mental health when they are in the studio or on the tour bus.

“There’s no shame in talking about that kind of stuff, it’s not something that you should feel scared talking about,” he told HuffPost Live. “We’re all very comfortable discussing our collective health with each other.  I think that’s the thing we’ve made very cool with each other.”

27. Sophie Trudeau

The wife of the Canadian Prime Minister has been candid about her previous battle with an eating disorder. Ever since, the Trudeaus do what they can to support others suffering from mental illness.

“I myself battled bulimia as a teenager and young adult. I speak openly about this experience, because it is not a secret,” she wrote in an essay for Huffington Post. “Mental illness should never be a secret, and the difficulties in facing them, as well as the power it takes to overcome and get back on your feet, should never be a secret.

28. Gabourey Sidibe

In her new memoir, the actress opens up about battling bulimia and depression growing up.

“I just accepted depression as something that’s part of my anatomy; it’s part of my chemistry, it’s part of my biology,” Sidibe told People. “When it’s too big for me to just turn around on my own, I see a therapist. I see a therapist anyway. We all should see a therapist. If only for the hour a week that you can talk about yourself and not worry about monopolizing the conversation? F***ing do it, it’s worth it!”

29. Zayn Malik

The former boy band singer revealed that he suffered from crippling anxiety, which even caused him to cancel several tour dates as a result.

“I just couldn’t go through with it. Mentally, the anxiety had won. Physically, I knew I couldn’t function. I would have to pull out,” Malik wrote in Time. “Anxiety is nothing to be ashamed of; it affects millions of people every day. I know I have fans out there who have been through this kind of thing, too, and I wanted to be honest for their sake, if nothing else.

30. Miranda Kerr

The supermodel revealed that after her divorce from Orlando Bloom, she became depressed.

“When Orlando and I separated [in 2013], I actually fell into a really bad depression,” Kerr told Elle Canada. “I never understood the depth of that feeling or the reality of that because I was naturally a very happy person.” To get through the tough times, she had to remember that “every thought you have affects your reality and only you have control of your mind.”

31. Jon Hamm

The “Mad Man” actor has been open about suffering from depression and addiction, which helped inform his perspective as a working actor in Hollywood.

“I struggled with chronic depression. I was in bad shape. I knew I had to get back in school and back in some kind of structured environment and… continue,” he told The Guardian.

32. Kesha

The pop singer spent two months in rehab to treat her eating disorder, something that developed after working in the music industry and not feeling good enough.

“I felt like part of my job was to be as skinny as possible and, to make that happen, I had been abusing my body,” she wrote. “The music industry has set unrealistic expectations for what a body is supposed to look like, and I started becoming overly critical of my own body because of that.”

33. Jared Padalecki

The “Supernatural” actor and “Gilmore Girls” alum revealed his battle with anxiety and depression.

“There’s still a large portion of the population who just want to say, ‘Buck up. Put on a happy face and everything goes away.’ For some people, that works. For those of us who aren’t so blessed, the message ‘Always Keep Fighting’ is for us,” Padalecki told E! Online. “I try to remember to remain empathetic to those who are not extending the same back to me. I’ve danced with these issues also, or my friend did, or my father did. Generation by generation, we’re slowly stripping away that taboo [on the stigma of mental health discussions], that strange dynamic of, ‘Oh, there must be a problem with you if you feel this way.'”

What 28 Celebrity Parents Feed Their Kids

Learn how your favorite stars find balance between healthy meals and kid-friendly foods.

Regardless of celebrity status, all parents fight the same battle: making sure their kiddos eat healthy food as much as possible. And while some kids turn out to be budding foodies with sophisticated palettes, most little ones are your run-of-the-mill picky eaters — no matter how famous their parents are.

So how do celebrity parents tackle the fruit-and-vegetable battle with their kids? Here are the healthy eating tricks of your favorite famous families:

1. Hilary Duff

The “Younger” actress and single mom to 5-year-old Luca told People, “He loves olives in his lunchbox! It’s so bizarre. But then he won’t touch his turkey sandwich. I’m like, ‘You are your mother’s child, you love salty things!'”

Luca not only inherited his mother’s good looks, but also her appetite; however, she’s not as big of a picky eater as her son.

“All of a sudden he’ll go through a stage where he won’t want to touch spinach, so he is picky but adventurous,” Duff said. “He’s picky, but he would crush that cheese plate! There’s this cheese shop [in Beverly Hills] he loves to go to because they give him salami and prosciutto and weird cheeses, and he houses it!”

2. Alicia Silverstone

The “Clueless” actress swears by a vegan diet, and keeps her son, Bear, on a similar meal plan.

When he was still a newborn, she wrote in her book, The Kind Life, “Bear was grown on vegan food, and we’ll continue nourishing him with a healthy diet… He’ll be eating an organic, plant-based diet. I intend to take great care of his precious, new baby body, so I’m committed to giving him nothing but the purest and most healthy food possible. We want to keep his immune system strong, so that he’ll be super healthy – which is just one of the many reasons he’ll eat vegan.”

True to her word, Silverstone now packs the 5-year-old’s lunches with tofu, carrots, grapes, and a cheese, arugula, and tomato sandwich. Talk about a vegan’s dream!

3. Rochelle Humes

The U.K.-based mom-of-two and member of girl group The Saturdays comes up with pretty great solutions to the dilemma of how to get your kids to eat healthy — by turning mealtime into a game.

Her latest idea, as shared on her Instagram story, involved compartmentalizing each dish into small plates, following a maze path. Being British, she included “fish and chips” on the lunch menu, of course. Three-year-old Alaia then journeyed from a small fish portion to a few french fries, a veggie blend, more fish, more veggies, and so on, until she reached a “Finished!” sign, that revealed a handful of jelly beans for dessert.

We love Humes’ creativity — and so did Alaia!

4. Kourtney Kardashian

The oldest Kardashian sibling keeps all three of her little ones on a strict gluten- and dairy-free diet, as she revealed on her website.

“For lunch, we usually have carrots and celery with hummus and a gluten-free rice tortilla with sliced turkey meat or turkey dogs — no bun,” she wrote. “Dinner consists of steamed vegetables, rice or gluten-free pasta and a protein of chicken, turkey or fish.”

Leave it to Kourtney to run such a tight ship.

5. Neil Patrick Harris

NPH and his husband David Burtka are definitely foodies, as evident from the star’s Instagram feed. That means when it’s time to feed their 5-year-old twins Harper and Gideon, meals are anything but boring. Burtka’s food-filled ‘gram showcases all the kids’ favorite dishes, whipped up by both Dads and the twins.

And the family of four doesn’t skimp on presentation: Whether it’s a smiley face or Pac-Man characters, cute plating seems to be a staple of the Harris-Burtka family’s kid-friendly meals.

6. Jillian Michaels

The fitness trainer told Us Weekly that her daughter, Lukensia, is quite the avid snacker, so Michaels makes sure her girl only eats healthy ones. Lukensia’s favorite? Fruit. Michaels will toss in a fresh peach or tangerine from their backyard orchard or a baggie of apple slices.

Also in Lukensia’s lunch box are different combinations of organic seaweed snacks, snap pea crisps, watermelon, grass-feed meatballs with tomato sauce, sushi avocado rolls from Whole Foods, edamame snack packs, Paul Newman organic cookies, organic Justin’s peanut butter cups, and Popchips. (Jillian, make an extra lunch for us? Thanks.)

The final touch: “We’ll always leave her notes on a napkin,” Michaels said. “Normally I’ll draw a picture because that’s easier than having her decode a three- or four-letter word. Or I’ll leave a little kiss mark with some lip gloss.” Aww!

7. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

https://www.instagram.com/p/xbwQFgHtEI/

It’s no secret that a pro-football player and supermodel need to keep their diets in line. And while the couple has become famous for their super strict grocery list, their personal chef, Allen Campbell, told The Boston Globe that their clan eats the same.

“Ninty percent of the time, they all eat the same thing. I cook for the kids, but Gisele makes Benny’s lunch to take to school. She packs that herself,” Campbell said.

Bundchen revealed that the family of four sticks to a plant-based meal plan because of its positive impact on the environment. “We all love it,” she told People. “It’s not only good for our health and makes us feel good, but it is also good for the planet!”

Their kids may have more sophisticated palettes than most of us, though: “Yesterday I made veggie sushi for the kids. I’ve been doing that a lot lately. It’s brown rice, avocado, carrot, and cucumber,” Campbell said. “The kids like [it] maki-style, so the rice is on the outside. And I do it with a ponzu sauce, which is uzu and tamari. [I use] tamari because we stick to gluten-free for everything.”

“For snacks, I make fruit rolls from bananas, pineapple, and spirulina. Spirulina is an algae. It’s a super fruit. I dehydrate it,” Campbell said. “I dehydrate a lot of things. I have three dehydrators in their kitchen. I also make raw granola and raw chocolate chip cookies.”

How do we score an invite to snack time?

8. Tia Mowry

The “Sister, Sister” star’s 5-year-old son Cree follows the same clean eating and dairy-free plan she used to beat her unhealthy teen eating habits. Based on her Instagram posts, Mowry’s two main men (Cree and husband Cory Hardrict) can’t get enough of her clean, delicious meals.

9. Reese Witherspoon

https://www.instagram.com/p/BJvbDmjA5Bu/

The Draper James creator certainly knows a thing or two about cute home decor and accessories, so it’s no surprise that 4-year-old Tennessee’s lunch box would be adorable, too. It doesn’t stop at the outside, though. The actress and mom-of-three decorates all of her toddler’s sandwiches, pizzas, waffles, and quiche slices with fruit and veggie smiley faces.

How could Tennessee not be a happy child when his food smilies back at him?

10. Jennifer Lopez

https://www.instagram.com/p/BRcweeQgIQQ/

J.Lo attributes her famous bod to a vegan diet, and it’s worked so well at keeping her healthy and happy that she’s been raising her 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme, the same way.

“When I started [eating vegan], I got the whole household on board,” she told Extra. “They won’t love everything right away, when you go from regular milk to almond milk or rice milk, it’s a big change, but little by little they get into it.”

However, J.Lo (just like every mom) sometimes has to battle her kids’ pleas for junk food.

“I came in from my first two appointments and I had to start getting ready for this and when I left, [my kids] were eating hot dogs and I was like okay, I’m going to let that go,” she told E! News. “And then I got back and they suggested tacos for dinner and I said no! We’re going to do chicken breasts. We’re going to make a cobb salad. You can have a little bread and butter but come on, let’s be serious here. Just because I’m working today doesn’t mean it’s like taco, pizza, hot dogs day. It was crazy.”

And that’s how a busy mom handles that.

11. Rachel Bilson

“The O.C.” alum is an avid cook (as evidenced by her Instagram) and often bakes with her “mini-me,” aka 2-year-old daughter, Briar Rose. Bilson is teaching her little girl early that you are never too young for yummy, healthy food by making homemade matching meals for Mom, Dad, and daughter. Sounds good to us!

12. Jimmy Kimmel

This year’s Academy Awards host not only makes homemade pizza for the whole family for dinner, but his 2-year-old daughter, Jane, gets a specialty breakfast: “Finding Dory” pancakes. Talk about a lucky kid!

13. Jessica Alba

Alba’s 8-year-old daughter, Honor Warren, likes it spicy. The super-svelte mom told Delish that her daughter requests Cholula on everything: tacos, breakfast, roasted chicken. The actress shared that Honor knows exactly what types of food she likes, which also include Cream of Wheat, pancakes, fried salami that her dad Cash Warren makes, and hot chocolate topped with plenty of whipped cream.

Other favorites for Honor and her 5-year-old sis Haven?

“Carrot and avocado salad topped with homemade dressing — a blend of lime juice, coconut water, olive oil, salt and pepper,” Alba said. “They go bananas for it. They’ll chow on that, even if they have their favorite pasta or hamburgers, or whatever with it, they’ll eat that first. I don’t even have to ask them to eat their veg.” Lucky Alba!

14. Vanessa and Nick Lachey

What’s in son Camden’s Superman lunch box? According to Mom’s Instagram, he’ll eat half a banana, some raisins, grape tomatoes, and a sandwich. But it’s not any ole sandwich — Vanessa uses seasonal cookie cutters to create fun shapes for his meal. (Sounds like a lunch the Man of Steel himself would approve of!)

Another battle we can relate to: how to get the kids with a sweet tooth to eat their fruits and veggies. “I used to have to hide berries in his [Camden’s] yogurt to get him to eat them, but then I taught him how to stick raspberries on his fingertips — this is the best way to get kids to eat them — and now he’s hooked,” Vanessa told Delish in 2015.

15. Tiffani Thiessen

The daughter of “Saved By The Bell” alum likes to eat healthy just like her mom. “Really, it’s about leading by example and growing our own stuff,” Thiessen told Cooking Light. “My daughter will pull kale right off the planter boxes and eat it. Last year, we grew pumpkins and squash. She’s interested in cooking with me and loves watching me make risotto.”

Six-year-old Harper loves eating carrots and hummus, Thiessen told Us Weekly. So, for school lunches, the actress tries to find unique and creative ways to get her daughter to eat healthy and tasty meals. And, between oatmeal energy bites, corn dog muffins, and avocado brownies, boy does she succeed!

16. Sarah Jessica Parker

The “Sex and the City” actress and her husband Matthew Broderick cook with plenty of veggies handpicked from their backyard garden. And, as noted on her Instagram feed, the meals are always a hit with the whole fam. (Pasta and veggies do well with their brood.)

To complete their meals, 7-year-old daughter Tabitha keeps the famous family of five hydrated with her “expert juicing” skills, her mom boasts.

17. Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s household primarily cooks under one rule of thumb: leveraging seasonal, colorful eating. (Well, this rainbow grilled cheese certainly qualifies as colorful!)

“We want to eat things that are yummy,” Bell told Hollywood Reporter, “and when things are in season they’re yummier. So we usually buy what’s in season because it tastes better.”

She tells the mag how the family of four often goes on picnics in the park and, to prepare, Bell will pack mung beans with rice, fresh fruit, and crunchy dehydrated pea snacks for her two kiddos.

Their daughters, Lincoln and Delta, aren’t allowed to have sugar, so instead Mom and Dad will blend frozen banana and coconut milk for a sweet treat or make the girls smoothies. “We do a lot of smoothies,” Bell said. “The kids end up feeling like they’re milkshakes, but I can throw in a big handful of spinach when they don’t want to eat salad.” Smart idea to sneak in more veggies!

18. Alyson Hannigan

The “How I Met Your Mother” alum told Us Weekly what goes into her daughter, Satyana’s, lunch box is rather normal…but with a small twist: Hannigan makes every option into different shapes — which her kiddos go nuts for.

“Saty’s class finished a bird study, so I made her a banana and almond butter sandwich shaped like an owl. I cut the bread with cookie cutters,” Hannigan said.

Also part of her food crafts: Slicing strawberries and other fruits and veggies into hearts, flowers, and animal shapes. “We went to the Japan Center Malls in San Francisco, and I found these vegetable cutters that can make your carrots into 3-D bunnies,” Hannigan said. “You just slot the pieces together. That blew both my kids’ minds!”

Understandable — what kid wouldn’t pleased when they opened their lunch box to this?

19. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prince Jr.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar strives to use fresh ingredients when cooking for the family. “You want them to eat like you eat,” Gellar told New York Daily News, in reference to her two kids. “They don’t have to finish the biggest meal ever. I am all for sweets and treats as long as they are homemade.”

She recently told Good Housekeeping that her little ones, Charlotte and Rocky, “go crazy for” cauliflower popcorn. (Sounds delish!)

Gellar is also a fan of decorating her kids’ food, including like bears and stars, and will even use cookie cutters to make sandwiches look cute. Cue the “aww.”

20. Alison Sweeney

Sweeney told New York Daily News how she focuses on making healthy, on-the-go snacks for her kids to pack in their lunch boxes. “I make healthy breakfast bars for them to take to school,” she said. “They have oatmeal, nuts, dried blueberries.”

For lunch, Sweeney’s kids get Pirate’s Booty or pretzel snacks, “but the deal is you also have to eat your carrots or apples if you eat the treat,” she said. We like her thinking!

21. Matthew McConaughey

Alright, alright, alright, what are the eating habits like in the McConaughey household?

The actor’s wife, Camila Alves, told Us Weekly that she tries to keep both meals at home and what son Levi takes to school consistent, so his lunch will often be a variation of what the family eats for dinner.

“We do a lot of rice and beans, but Levi’s favorite is pasta with meat sauce,” Alves said. She revealed her secret to make such a classic dish playful for the kids: “World Market has really fun-shaped pasta — everything from animals to spaceships — that I love.”

Young Levi’s lunch gets packed in a bento box, so there’s a place for everything. (Smart thinking!) “I’ll put the pasta on one side and then steamed edamame, carrots, and broccoli on the other,” Alves said. Other goodies inside include a mix of fruits, Goldfish crackers, and dried seaweed.

A variation on dinner isn’t their only lunchtime staple. All the McConaughey kiddos like a classic turkey and cheese sandwich as well, but Mom makes it fun by cutting them in fun shapes (we’re sensing a theme here of #momsecrets).

22. David and Victoria Beckham

The former soccer star and former Spice Girl duo know how important it is to eat healthy, a lesson they try to instill in their four kids.

David told the Telegraph that he and Victoria are strict on making sure their kids always eat their fruits and vegetables. “As a dad, I know how hard it is to get kids to eat the right things,” Beckham said. “I also know as a [soccer player], how important it is to eat the right things to perform well.”

Like with pancakes? A fruit smiling face is the perfect way to get their morning helping of fruit in. And placing it on their eldest’s face just goes to show how fun Posh and Becks are.

23. Shiri Appleby

The “UnReal” actress’ household is no strangers to delicious food — her husband, Jon Shook, is a chef, after all. However, for their two young children, the parents tend to keep it simple with meals like tacos and meatloaf, Hollywood Reporter writes. Appleby said, “We’re not very fancy at home. Peanut butter and jelly, pasta.”

Another staple for the family of four? Growing fresh veggies from their backyard garden. The actress said, “It’s really fun, especially with a kid. Over the summer we grew tomatoes and her friends came over to pick and eat them. It’s a great way to make food — especially vegetables — fun for little kids.” Great idea!

24. Kristin Cavallari

Kristin Cavallari has previously told People how important eating organic food — such as wild-caught fish and grass-fed beef — is in her household since her husband, NFL player Jay Cutler, has Type 1 diabetes. This all-natural diet is what keeps her three little ones eating healthy, too.

Luckily, her kiddos are far from picky eaters: “They eat sushi, they eat seafood, the only thing they don’t like is scallops,” Cavallari told Us Weekly. “We’re lucky because I know how difficult it is for a lot of parents to get anything new down their kids’ throats. I’m very fortunate that mine eat healthy.”

25. Melissa Joan Hart

When it comes to getting lunches packed for her three boys, the former child star has her system down pat, as she revealed to SheKnows. “I set some things aside for lunch so that the lunch boxes are a little bit easier, because that always seems to be the thing I put off until last. So if I have that done the night before, it’s easier.”

But sometimes, it can be difficult to get your kids to want to eat the healthy food on their plates. She continued, “I challenge the baby, like, ‘How would a dinosaur eat this?’ If I challenge him to be a dinosaur, that makes it more fun. Whatever it takes to get kids to eat, just do it!”

26. Chris Hemsworth

The ‘Thor’ actor and his wife, Elsa Pataky, both post adorable pictures of their three little ones constantly, including what the wee ones like to eat. When Mom packs lunch, though, she often struggles with the same dilemmas as most of us — how to keep it healthy but interesting so no one gets bored.

We like what we see here, though: In the blue lunch box are strawberries, kiwi, cheese, and a scoop of peanut butter. And in the pink container, cherries, nuts, and pasta. We wonder which is 4-year-old India’s favorite to take to school?

27. Jessica Capshaw

The “Greys Anatomy” actress and mom of four puts heavy emphasis on the importance of her kiddos to eat organic and healthy. The fam even has a backyard garden for veggies and a chicken coop at home, perfect for fresh egg breakfasts!

When Mom heads to the set of the hit ABC drama early in the morning, Dad, who is Honest Company founder Christopher Gavigan, will pack the three school lunches in a bento box with fruits, veggies, a few nuts, a sandwich, and a little treat. Looks good!

28. Tori Spelling

Not only does the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress make yummy treats for her family, but Spelling has passed that trait on to daughter Stella who’s becoming quite the young chef, her mom boasts on social media.

Spelling wrote on her blog that as a busy mom of five, making school lunches can be overwhelming and boring when you pack the same things everyday. Her trick? “I am always scouring Pinterest looking for new ways to get creative with lunch for my babes!”

Now, off to use some of that inspiration in packing our kids’ (or just our own?) lunches!

20 Celebs Who Make Working Out a Family Affair

Sometimes the best (and cutest!) workout buddies are your little ones.

Working out with a buddy can make exercise way more fun and motivating than going at it solo. While we love sweating with girlfriends and hubbies, the cutest workout partners have to be adorable kiddos, often completing (or attempting to at least) their parents’ workout regimens side-by-side. And celebs are no exception, ‘gramming photos and videos of how they teach their little ones the importance of fitness and healthy living.

1. Michelle Obama

The former First Lady, and champion of the Let’s Move campaign, recommends any type of outdoor exercise, like when she takes former White House pups Bo and Sunny for walks. And a favorite activity for the whole fam, including daughters Sasha and Malia? Family bike rides. Could they be any more #FamilyGoals?

2. Carrie Underwood

The country songstress wassn’t the biggest fan of yoga — until she found the perfect companion in her 2-year-old son Isaiah. His firetruck footie jammies just make the moment, don’t they?

3. Hilaria Baldwin

Hilaria Baldwin is a fitness expert professionally, but even experts sometimes need a hand to stay balanced. Her kiddos are ready to assist Mama during her mid-morning yoga sesh.

4. Mario Lopez

The “Saved By The Bell” alum certainly sees exercise as a family activity, as he gets his wife Courtney and two kiddos (and they family dog!) to join in on his workout plans.

5. Gisele Bündchen

https://www.instagram.com/p/h_Qb9_HtGy/

We all know how hard the Brady-Bundchen clan works to stay in shape. Instead of working out alone, the supermodel prefers the company of her brood and teachers her kiddos to do yoga. Beach sunsets just make the perfect backdrop, right?

6. Chris Hemsworth

You heard the “Thor”actor: the family that works out together, stays together! Who needs dumbbells when you can use your little one?

7. Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Sometimes even the actress and dancer needs a little help getting her morning run started. Luckily, daughter Everly is on board to stretch it out with Mama to keep her focused.

8. Jason Momoa

It’s obvious that the buff actor works out to keep his bod in tip-top shape. But as a dad, he knows to teach his kiddos to exercise too. Family rock wall climb, anyone?

9. Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore teaches her girls the mindful practice of yoga, with mother-daughter classes held in their backyard. Who needs regular workout clothes when you can sub in your “Frozen” princess costumes?

10. Justin Baldoni

The “Jane the Virgin” actor often posts Instagram videos of his gym workouts. But, this one takes the cake where Baldoni and his wife Emily take their little girl Maiya to their salsa dancing lesson. She sits in Daddy’s arms as her ‘rents whirl around the studio. Can’t wait to see this cool family tradition evolve as she gets older!

11. Dwayne Johnson

The action star is just a big ole softy, like letting his niece pretend she’s got super strength to pull a helicopter. If it inspires her to continue her fitness, we’re all for it!

12. Michael Phelps

It was only a matter of time before the record-breaking Olympic swimmer got his little boy Boomer into the pool — and it happened before he could even walk!

“We basically hop in two or three times a week,” Phelps told People. “Boomer loves it, he floats around in our hands trying to swim butterfly. He loves being in the water and he doesn’t mind going under.” And apparently, this toddler is already better than when his dad was his age! Phelps continued, “He doesn’t like being on his back and that’s how I learned to swim. He’s a step ahead of me.”

So, Olympics 2036?

13. Lily Aldridge

The supermodel has the best partner when it comes to getting in the core exercises that keep her runway ready. Psst, Lily: your daughter’s getting a workout too, climbing on Mommy like she would a jungle gym!

14. Eric Decker

When the NFL player hits the gym, he too needs a little extra motivation to keep going sometimes. Lucky for him, 3-year-old Vivianne has the cheerleader role down pat.

15. Mark Zuckerberg

Since the Facebook founder is busy running social media, he doesn’t have a ton of time to balance that with home life and fitness. His solution? Strapping daughter Max onto his back and completing a few at-home workouts, with the ultimate coach giggling behind Daddy, telling him to go faster.

16. Jay Cutler

The pro football player takes a special training buddy to help Daddy at his practices. Definitely the coolest kid on the field!

17. Hilary Duff

The “Younger” actress and her five-year-old son Luca have created their own gymnastics-themed exercise, titled “Luc Du Soleil.” Where do we buy tickets?

18. David Beckham

Of course, as a professional athlete, Beckham has learned how to stay in tip-top shape, and that’s a lesson he’s passed along to his four kiddos. So it’s no surprise he’d be so proud of 5-year-old daughter Harper when she masters her bicycle all by herself. #ProudDadAlert

19. Kelly Clarkson

https://twitter.com/kelly_clarkson/status/786012909675479040

Two-year-old River Rose loves to bust a move with her Mama, former “American Idol” champ Kelly Clarkson. Who needs a rigid gym routine when you and your little one can dance it out? Talk about a fun fitness idea!

20. Reese Witherspoon

https://www.instagram.com/p/BId-F4cAyEL/

As a busy actress, business owner, and mom of three, we often wonder how Reese Witherspoon even has time to think about fitness. And easy solution to getting in both fitness and family bonding: taking hikes with her kiddos, especially when they travel, as her son Deacon ‘grammed. Deja vu to her “Wild” trek?

What could be a better way to teach your kiddos the importance of exercise than by letting them join in on Mommy and Daddy’s workouts?

Met Gala 2017 Red Carpet Review

Tonight is fashion’s biggest night (the Met Gala), and here’s your red carpet fashion review, from the comfort of my sofa. (Wish I had a ticket to fashion’s most exclusive gala! But alas, settling for a social media viewpoint.)

Anna Wintour aka Queen of the Met Gala looks positively regal. Who would even dare critique her?

I love Rose Byrne’s red dress with the tulle, neckline, and cutouts. Gorge. However, I’m not digging her super-curly ‘do.

Priyanka Chopra is tonight’s showstopper. Who else could pull off a trench coat to a gala? My only thought: wouldn’t that train be heavy to wear all night.

Laura Osnes is currently starring in my favorite new Broadway show this season, “Bandstand,” and while her leading man onstage is with his wife as she gives birth to their first child, Osnes is wearing an absolutely stunning custom Christian Siriano gown to the red carpet. Pure perfection. BEST DRESSED. (And fingers crossed for tomorrow, Miss Osnes. For you and the show.)

I really like Allison Williams’ ensemble here. It’s structured and tailored to perfection, coupled with a stunning hair and makeup choice.

Does Nick Jonas ever not look great in a suit? Just wondering.

Love Mindy Kaling’s vintage-inspired and glitzy off-the-shoulder gown. Gorge.

Katie Holmes looks amazing in her Zac Posen gown. Bravo, Mr. Posen! (as usual)

I think Laura Dern is one of my favorites tonight! Its simplicity just makes it that more stunning.

Lily Collins has gone the haute couture route tonight, and it works well. Love that tulle skirt paired with the bustier top.

Ansel Elgort has mastered the dapper man look tonight. Love a white jacket on a guy!

Wow! I absolutely love Lena Dunham’s look. Normally, I’m not one for plaid, but I love this. Stunning.

Selena Gomez: Meh, it’s nice but too simple and underwhelming.

I’m normally not a fan by Dakota Johnson’s style, but this Gucci dress is gorgeous and high fashion to a tee.

Diane Kruger is one of my favorite. This Prada gown is so chic and effortlessy elegant. Love.

Jennifer Connelly looks edgy and trendy here. In a dress that’s totally different from everyone else, she stands out and I’m really digging this look.

Elle Fanning’s Miu Miu dress is 100 percent Disney princess. And love her headband.

Blake Lively is THE best dressed. Oh my gosh. She looks like a golden peacock and so amazing. NO COMPARISON. Phenomenal.

SAG Awards Red Carpet Review

Next award show: SAG Awards. Check.

Next blog: red carpet review. Here we go!

rs_634x1024-170129165832-634-2017-screen-actors-guild-natalie-portman I don’t know what I think about Natalie Portman’s dress. It’s very high fashion, yes, but I’m not sure if it’s ready-to-wear? It seems a little too editorial for a carpet. I do love the sleeves though.

rs_634x1024-170129165845-634-emma-stone-sag-awards-2017 Emma Stone: meh. I don’t like this split personalities of the dress. Does it want to be sexy and lace? Or floral and bohemian? Individually, the styles look great but together? Not so much.

rs_634x1024-170129165629-634-salma-hayek-sag-awards-2017 Salma Hayek: yikes. The color yellow is very hard to pull off, the pink ruffle looks horrendous and the weird pink ribbon tied around her waist. It looks like a bad bridesmaid dress.

rs_634x1024-170129165101-634-kerry-washington-cm-12917 Kerry Washington looks stunning. Love how it looks effortless, vintage-inspired and still glamorous. Best dressed.

rs_634x1024-170129165010-634-2017-screen-actors-guild-michelle-williams Michelle Williams is simplistic and elegant, and yet it works.

rs_634x1024-170129165315-634-meryl-streep-sag-awards-2017 Meryl Streep looks effortless and boho chic.

rs_634x1024-170129163440-634-sofia-vergara-cm-12916 Sofia Vergara went for something totally different here and it works. I love the midi length and the tulle skirt. I just feel like it’s a little youthful for her.

rs_634x1024-170129165028-634-julia-louis-dreyfus-sag-awards-2017 Julia-Louis Dreyfus looks chic and elegant in her black and gold gown, two colors that can never go wrong.

rs_634x1024-170129164623-634-2017-screen-actors-guild-gina-rodriguez Gina Rodriguez is super high fashion meets RTW, and it works. Gorge. End of story.

rs_634x1024-170129164348-634-2017-screen-actors-guild-taraji-p-henson Taraji P. Henson gets her princess moment in this pink Reem Acra. Love it.

rs_634x1024-170129160926-634-emily-blunt-sag-awards-2017 Emily Blunt goes for the gold here. Very nice. Just wish she added something to her neck, it’s pretty bare.

rs_634x1024-170129160329-634-sophia-bush-sag-awards-2017 Wow, Sophia Bush’s dress is bright, neon pink. Okay, now that my eyes have adjusted— I like the shape, very fashion-forward and couture. Love the little embellishments on the ruffle thing.

rs_634x1024-170129163529-634-2017sag-awards-yara Yara Shahidi looks stunning for the teen star. Gorgeous choice.

screen-shot-2017-01-30-at-10-51-51-am Rami Malek is the epitome of best dressed male on the red carpet! Edgy, but just edgy enough to make a statement. Rami, keep doing what you’re doing– I approve.

rs_634x1024-170129155542-634-2017-screen-actors-guild-claire-foy Love Claire Foy’s Valentino gown. Stunning. Perfection. Well done. And I can’t wait for next series of The Crown.

So many gorgeous gowns, can’t wait to see what’ll be next!

Reviewing the People’s Choice Awards…

Tonight’s the People Choice Awards, so it’s only natural for me to review the fashions. Let’s go!

gallery-1484786346-gettyimages-632006766 I really like Chelsea Kane’s long black lacy dress with all the embroidery. Love. However, I’m not digging the vintage-y bob with the look, the two don’t really go well together.

gallery-1484787803-gettyimages-632010800 Golden Globe nominee (and star of the renewed series This is Us!) Chrissy Metz looks gorgeous. Princess moment! And love all the details on her navy gown.

gettyimages-632012350 There was some debate over Kristen Bell’s jumpsuit. First, you all know how much I love a tailored pantsuit– like this. And two, the color looks exquisite! Okay, maybe the bustier part is in a weird color? But, I’ll forgive when looking at the look as a whole– it just works.

gettyimages-632012182 Camilla Luddington (+ bump) wears a very simplistic LBD (compared to her castmates), but it’s impeccably styled to create a cohesive look that works.

gettyimages-632011934 Kelly McCreary, also of Greys, is rocking an edgy look with the skinny pant and cool, edgy teal top. Perfect for the PCAs.

gettyimages-632011912 Sarah Drew (yes, she from Greys too) also got the edgy memo, but this time in a navy and black dress. But, nonetheless, I love it!

gallery-1484790346-gettyimages-632015426 Blake Lively looks absolutely stunning in Elie Saab. Gorge. True perfection, end of story, period. BEST. FREAKING. DRESSED. FOR. SURE.

gallery-1484790080-gettyimages-632015200 J.Lo is J.Lo. Looks great per usual, stunning choice of gown. Yawn, that’s predictable to always write that (not that it’s not true!)

gallery-1484790408-gettyimages-632015654 Victoria Justice wears a gold minidress like she’s trying to be a showgirl? Dancing With The Stars B-list contestant? It just looks kind of cheap to me. Not reading edgy. Not feeling the weird beading off the front. Pass.

gallery-1484790658-gettyimages-632015418 Jamie Chung nails the bohemian vibe in this sheer yellow strapless dress and I really love it! It looks so flowy and effortless and I really like this look. My best dressed pick alongside Blake!

gallery-1484790725-gettyimages-632016022 Now, I love her show Quantico and her sense of fashion usually. But, I’m not liking Priyanka Chopra’s dress. The weird crop flowy crop top looks like it’s camouflaging a baby bump, the weird fringe half of the skirt and a weird wavy over-skirt. Not to mention the weird pale pink color. Sorry, this look was a flop.

gallery-1484791219-gettyimages-632016508 Caterina Scorcese (Greys sister!) went classic and trendy and I really like her floral dress with a pop of red in her shoes. Looks great.

gettyimages-632008838 Disney Channel’s Peyton List looks like she wanted to be high fashion, but didn’t get the best options. The weird polka dots? The bottom shape of the skirt? The clear material? Nope.

gettyimages-632010912 Youtube’s Lilly Singh looks so vintage and disco glam and I love it! So fab!

gettyimages-632012380 Originally, I thought Blackish teen actress Yara Shahidi’s dress was way too busy. BUT, as I spend more time looking at it, it’s growing on me as being so trendy and fashion-forward. Great choice.

Those are my picks at this red carpet! What about you guys?

Until next time!
